Who it’s for

Private singing lessons are available for all ages and levels. Group lessons are available for younger singers, or there’s our weekly choir — which many adult students find is a great complement to private lessons.

All lessons are charged via direct debit on a weekly, fortnightly, or monthly basis. Scholarships may be available through the We Are Loud Charitable Trust.

Singing questions, answered.

How young can a child start singing lessons?

Our youngest group singing classes run for 5 to 7 year olds, with further groups for ages 8 to 13 and 10 to 14. Private lessons are available for all ages. If your child is very young, a group class is often the gentler way in — there is less pressure and plenty of company.

I get nervous singing in front of people. Is that going to be a problem?

No, and you are in good company — it is one of the most common things students tell us at the first lesson. Our teachers work in a supportive, judgement-free way, and nobody is pushed onto a stage. Performance opportunities exist if you want them, and are entirely optional if you do not.

Will you teach the kind of music I actually listen to?

Yes. We combine modern scientific vocal method with contemporary and classical models so you end up with the technique to sing any genre you like, in a healthy way. Bring the songs you love and we will build the lessons around them.
