Music production lessons teach you to record, mix, and produce your own tracks using modern software and equipment. Whether you want to produce beats, record your band, or create electronic music, we’ll guide you through the process.

Who it’s for
Music production is for students who want to create and record music, whether as producers, singer-songwriters, or band members wanting to capture their sound. Private and online lessons are available.

All lessons are charged via direct debit on a weekly, fortnightly, or monthly basis. Scholarships may be available through the We Are Loud Charitable Trust.
Music Production questions, answered.
What software will I learn?
We teach in the major DAWs — GarageBand, Logic Pro, Ableton Live or similar. If you already use something, we will teach in that. If you do not, we will start you somewhere that suits the music you want to make and does not cost a fortune to get going.
What gear do I need at home?
Less than people expect. A laptop and a pair of headphones is enough to start, and an audio interface and microphone come later, once you know what you are recording. Talk to your teacher before buying anything — the wrong gear early is the most common way to waste money here.
Can I learn music production online?
Yes, and it suits online lessons particularly well — you are both looking at software, so sharing a screen is often clearer than sitting side by side. Online lessons run at the same rates as in-studio private lessons.
