Our guitar lessons use a playing-based approach — you’ll be learning songs you actually want to play from lesson one. Theory and note reading come naturally as your skills develop, just like learning to speak before you read.

Guitar lessons are available for all ages and levels — from complete beginners picking up a guitar for the first time to experienced players looking to level up. We offer private, group, and online lessons.

All lessons are charged via direct debit on a weekly, fortnightly, or monthly basis. Scholarships may be available through the We Are Loud Charitable Trust.
Guitar questions, answered.
Should I start on acoustic or electric guitar?
Either works, and the honest answer is to start on whichever one makes you want to pick it up. Acoustic needs nothing else to get going; electric is often easier on the fingers and better suited if the music you love is loud. We teach both, and switching later is straightforward. Talk to us before buying and we will help you choose.
How soon will I be playing actual songs?
From the first lesson. Our approach is playing-based, so you start on music you have chosen rather than working through exercises until you have earned it. Technique, chords, strumming and fingerpicking all get built into songs you want to play.
Do you teach adults, or is it mostly children?
Both. Guitar lessons run for all ages and levels, from someone picking up a guitar for the first time to an experienced player wanting to level up. Private, group and online lessons are all available.
